Shlohmo is an electronic producer with a cult-like following, visual artist, clothing designer and Wedidit figurehead, best known for this work on this seminal album. Since, he has produced for artists like Post Malone, Joji, Lil Yachty, Jeremih, Torey Lanez and more as well as scoring the HBO film ‘Share’ in 2019. From the first glimpses of Henry Laufer's work as Shlohmo, it was clear that the LA native and visual artist turned selftaught musician was onto something. With an effortless grasp on sound design, Laufer combines deceptively simple and emotive melodies, subtle bass drops and swinging slow motion drums. His early work has placed him at the forefront of a new wave of rising talent amongst West Coast producers. For many, this album really catapulted lo-fi hip hop production into a broader audience as he continues to stand at the forefront of many musical styles and innovations over the last 10 years.
