In 2004 Madvillainy was released and quickly stamped itself into hip-hop history. One year later the experimental tinkerer Four Tet was given the green light to do a remix album. The result is an oddball bit of industrial hip hop that somehow works. It’s hard to imagine how the idea for the album even came about but we are glad it did. There is something strangely complimentary about the complex flows of MF Doom alongside the perky ‘n’ quirky production styles of Four Tet. B-side features the stripped down instrumentals.
