The frontman of Black Moth Super Rainbow, Thomas Fec hits us with another saturated, grimy solo album under his Tobacco moniker. Tobacco records characteristically balance the grotesque and the gorgeous and somehow walk a kitsch edge without coming off as a nostalgic slap in the face. Synthy psych feels throughout and intentionally low quality samples keep this thing rooted in the past but somehow sounding like the future. Kinda like getting picked up by an Uber driver in a DeLorean. You’ve been warned.
